TYPE. FACE. Get it?! Get it? *wink wink* *nudge nudge*
You have to read a slightly obscure bible quote for Art History context only to realize it is a slightly obscure quote referenced during an argument between Harriet and Matt during Studio 60.
P.S. It is about “the thousands of thousands” of angels that arrive during the apocalypse… I figured you were still interested if you read this far.
P.P.S. This may be one of my most revealing “dork” posts yet. Be honored you witnessed it.
Today is the anniversary of the duel between Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton in 1804. I still go around singing this and it’s a few years old. I dare you to find someone as awesome as Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Harry Potter: The end of my childhood is official.
Midnight in Paris: This whole grown up thing is awesome and I can’t wait to go on more magical adventures! (seriously though. Literally changed my life.)
Now whenever you google video search “Real Housewives of Canaan” this glorious soap opera of biblical proportions shows up at the top. You’re welcome.
P.S. I started my internship at G-dcast this week. Can you tell? Tis awesome.
*EDIT* All I did was rename the video! I have no part in creating the actual short! I’m not that cool!
I’m sure you’ve heard this song thanks to obscure pop culture refs or you may be more cultured than me and know who Dave Brubeck is. While this is an awesome song (this one is even more ridiculous), the point of this post is HE STUDIED AT MILLS!
Where I am going to start school in less than two weeks.
Holy.
Cow.
No, really. I’m pretty sure that a holy cow is one of those weird Campus Myths that they have.
ahahahaha Just kidding. What? No. Losing my mind to stress? No. *eye twitch*
This is kind of extremely awesome.
Episode #001: “Spring Breakers: An Art History”
Scandalous! Take a different look at Harmony Korine’s most recent film Spring Breakers by comparing it to the history of how art presents the female nude.

This has been literally four months in the making and I’m so excited to share this with y'all! I plan on doing this every few weeks so keep an eye out for the next episode too!
Episode #002: “Bonnaroo & The ‘Art’ of Paul McCartney”
Since I’ve literally been having stress dreams based around the port potty lines at Bonnaroo, I decided to base this episode off of the positive experience of seeing Paul McCartney live. It was cathartic and beautiful and rivaled seeing even the largest of Rothko’s in person. Paul made some art history references in his performance too!
I did a thing again.
